We are seeking a motivated, and experienced CDL B Delivery Driver who enjoys hard work and be home every night.
In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading and delivering materials to customers across central and southern Florida, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. You will also assist with warehouse duties, including pulling orders, verifying products, and stocking incoming materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or problems to the supervisor.
- Load and unload materials for delivery to customers in the central and southern Florida areas.
- Pick up customer returns as needed, ensuring accurate validation of products.
- Fuel the truck as needed and maintain clean and safe driving conditions.
- Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures to ensure safe operations.
- Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
- Verify, stage, and stock incoming materials to ensure accuracy.
- Be available for overtime work as needed to meet delivery schedules.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid CDL B driver's license and clean driving record.
- Current DOT medical card.
- A minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle and adhere to safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to deliveries and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills with customers and warehouse staff.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed weighing 25 up to 75 pounds.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification or experience with warehouse equipment.
- Moffett and PalFinger experience.
